Welcome to Propel into Leadership and thank you for considering the exciting – and challenging – role of leader at Vanguard. A critical skill for crew leaders is the ability to accurately self-assess their abilities and the impact they have on others. This self-assessment is your opportunity to reflect on your current skills that will help identify management and leadership capabilities and potential. Moreover, it’s an opportunity for you to reflect on ALL the skills that are required to manage and lead. You can't be an effective leader if, for example, you are knowledgeable in an area (a strength) but are unwilling or unable to help others learn and grow (an area for development). This assessment will provide a picture of how you would show up as a leader. You'll see your strengths and opportunities for development.
